The newly-formed Dayton Mandolin Orchestra will give its premier performance on Sunday, Dec. 5, at 3:30 p.m. in the Dave Finkelman Auditorium on the Miami University-Middletown campus. This 16-member ensemble, directed by Allen Richmond, features four musicians from Yellow Springs: Michael Hitchcock, mandola, Yvonne Wingard, mandocello; Michael Ruddell, double bass; and R. Michael Triplett, double bass.
