Dayton Mandolin Orchestra
About the
  Dayton Mandolin Orchestra

The Dayton Mandolin Orchestra (DMO) performs at local concerts, holiday celebrations and other events in the Dayton and Greater Miami Valley area. The orchestra features the members of the mandolin family: Mandolin, Mandola, Octave, Mandocello and Mandobass; and their acoustical cousins, the Guitar and Contrabass, with additional instrumentalists as needed.

DMO's repertoire consists of a wide variety of music spanning the Seventeenth through Twenty-first Centuries: Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, light Jazz/Big Band, Contemporary, patriotic and seasonal numbers, with a special emphasis on music of the early Twentieth Century: "The Golden Age" of the Mandolin Orchestra's history.

The Dayton Mandolin Orchestra, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit musical arts organization, relies upon our dedicated friends and supporters. Revenue from ticket sales provides only a small portion of the operating expense required to create quality programs for your enjoyment. Your generous tax-deductible contributions enable us to continue to bring wonderful concerts to the public on a regular basis.
